1. Types of Packing We UseWe pack items using multilayer packaging, wrapping plastic, bubble wrap, and foam. To ensure the safety of the goods, we sometimes use wooden crates for packing.

   Although packaging with wooden crates makes the packaging larger, it is crucial for the safety of the items during transit. This way, the goods will arrive safely at their destination.

   Solution if the Item Doesn’t Fit Into the Room

   If the item is still too large to fit into your room, one option is to unpack it before moving it inside. After unpacking, you can divide it into several parts.

   When ordering a chair, you can remove parts like cushions and legs to make it smaller and lighter. Once everything is inside the room, you can proceed with assembly and place it in the designated area.

How to Unpack Your Goods

Once the item arrives at your home, there are a few things you need to do. Here are the steps for unpacking when the item arrives.

Ensure the Quality of the Item upon Receipt

Make sure the item you receive is in good condition. If you notice any damage to the outer packaging, such as cartons or crates, you should inform the delivery personnel.

Report Any Damage to the Item

We also recommend taking photos of the damaged product or outer packaging and sending them to our email along with the order details, so we can verify them with the items brought by the sender.

Any damage should also be noted on the Delivery Receipt. We have shipped to various locations, and it is not possible for us to intentionally cause damage.

If there is damage due to negligence on the part of Anja Furniture Living, we will replace the item with a new one. Of course, the replacement will be the same as the item you ordered.

Ensure the Item Fits into the Room

Delivery personnel are not authorized to unpack or assemble furniture and packages. Their main task is to deliver the items to the customer. They are not employed by our company but are third-party contractors.

Measuring the furniture or package is the customer’s responsibility, and we advise checking the dimensions mentioned on the product page carefully to ensure the furniture fits in your room.

Assembling the Furniture

Most of our furniture does not require assembly. However, there are tasks that customers may need to do, such as tightening the sofa legs or attaching the legs of a simple table.

Some items have rear legs with plate materials where screws can be fixed with a wrench. We provide nuts/bolts or screwdrivers. Our team will also assist with furniture assembly.

We also provide the necessary wrenches to help you with further assembly. Currently, we do not offer assembly services. However, detailed assembly instructions are included in the package and with the items.

Package Arrival When You Are Not at Home

Our company’s couriers typically notify you of the delivery schedule via phone or WhatsApp. In other words, we do not have direct control over them, so we cannot guarantee they will call before delivery.

We also request that you provide a clear delivery address and a contact phone number that can be reached at any time. This is used if we have difficulty finding your location. We also need other details at the time of order placement.

If you plan to travel and will not be at the specified location, please inform us in advance so we can arrange a redelivery at your convenience.

Information About Higher Floors

When delivering to your location, our couriers are prepared to deliver wherever the item is directed. However, if delivery is requested for a high-rise building, they may not be able to deliver there.

For deliveries to high-rise buildings, you may use additional services and ensure they are ready when the item arrives to expedite the delivery to the desired location.

Our delivery authority for large products is limited to the ground floor or a maximum of the first floor of a building. At present, we do not have the resources and personnel to deliver large furniture to high-rise buildings.
